Welcome to this years Jodrell Bank Classic which will be held on the Sunday 19th of March 2016. Once again we will be starting at Poynton Leisure Centre, Yew Tree Lane, Poynton then heading off into the Cheshire Plains.
We have two challenging routes which have been designed by experienced local club cyclists.

We are pleased to announce that High 5 are once again our fuelling partners,  we will also have Chris Meads a professional photographer and keen local cyclist taking pictures.

The Route


The first part of the course is fast and flat across the Chesire plains skirting past the famous Jodrell Bank Radio telescope. Towards the end of the ride it gets a little lumpy there are a few small climbs, on the 50 mile route and 80 mile routes riders also have to tackle the Pott Shrigley climb which a steady gradient up past the village and golf course, a little sting in the tail.

Registration opens at 7.30 am closes at 8.15 am

Registration
In registration for riders who have entered online you have already signed on so it's just a matter of picking up your number, there is nothing to sign. We will publish the start sheet a few days before the event. It will speed registration up if you check your number before hand.

Make sure you have downloaded and printed of your route maps.

Riders Briefing
A riders briefing will be published on the website prior to the event. It will also be emailed out to riders after entries have closed.

REFUNDS
Along with most other sportive vents we do not do refunds. We do allow you to transfer to one of our other events if you are unable to ride. You must inform us before the online entry closing date for the event.

Recent Team Launch



 The event is promoted by Team Torelli one of the countries top female racing teams. By riding the sportive you will be helping them to fund their racing season.



 You can see the team in action at the Womens National Series 10 races televised on Eurosport. Pearl Izumi Tour Series Matrix Fitness Grand Prix televised on ITV4, London Nocturne on Chanel 4.


 The team will also be venturing into abroad. The first big target for the year is the Tour of Malta in April, we also have invites from race organisers in France, Belgium, Holland, Czech Rebuplic and Spain. Most of the races will be on Europsort and the Bike Channel.
